Art Centre News and Updates:
First of all The Riverton Arts Centre would like to wish all it’s Members, Artists, and Friends a\ very Happy New Year! We have a fantastic calendar lined up for you all this year starting withan exhibition entitled ‘Miscellany’ by Jackie Jones and Brigitte Kämmlein. Following that we are
launching our ‘Art Prints for Hire’ exhibition. Here we will showcase a portion of the 200+framed fine art prints that were kindly donated to The Arts Centre by Fred & Joan Hall-Jones.
These are a great educational resource for schools or students interested in the study of Art and Art History. The exhibition opens on 5 February and concludes 28 February 2010. Delgirl are also
back in town to play some fantastic tunes for us in February. They’re playing here on Sunday 21
February at 7.30pm—see attached info. Also gracing us (again) with their presence is Paul
Winders and The Goodness and The Verlaines!!! Yes, you read it right, The Verlaines!!! We’re
just waiting for confirmation on the date, time and ticket prices, but we’ll keep you updated.
