The Riverton Community Arts Centre is situated in the main shopping street of Riverton at 129 Palmerston Street.

Riverton is a small seaside community on the heritage scenic route on the southeast coast of Southland. Riverton is known to be the second oldest town in New Zealand and 2011 has seen a series of community events celebrating its 175th anniversary.

The shopping centre contains many craft shops, cafes, a museum and amenities for local residents and visitors. Fishing, surfing, safe beaches and bush walks allow plenty to do in this delightful little seaside town.
